Chaparral Summer Wrestling Opportunities
Ken Chertow Camp in Denver Colorado (Folkstlye training camp ages 6-18) Camp is June 17th to 21st at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Chaparral has negotiated a discounted rate for our wrestlers. Commuters that bring their own meals (cost is $150)
What to Bring: Work out gear, Wrestling Shoes, Head Gear, Notebook & Pen, Money for camp shirts and videos...
Chertow Camp Daily Schedule: (June 18th to 21st) *
(Campers please arrive 5 minutes early for each session to get ready to wrestle)
7:00 -7:45 Strength Training / Conditioning (OPTIONAL)
9:30 - 11:30 Technical Instruction
11:30 - 1:00 Lunch break (Commuters need to bring their own Lunch)
1:30 - 4:30 Intense Drilling and Live Wrestling
4:30 - 6:00 Dinner break (Commuters need to bring their own Dinner)
6:30 - 7:00 Guest speaker may address Mental preparation, goal setting, strength, nutrition and other topics of value
7:00 - 9:00 Review session, Small Group, personalized Instruction
9:00 - Pick up for commuter
*Communiter Campers check in June 17th between 2:30-3:00 pm the fist workout will start at 3:00 pm they will wrestle till 9:00 pm, there will be a dinner breck.
Nebraska Team Camp in Lincoln, Nebraska (Folkstlye training camp for Middle School Wrestler to High School Wrestler)
Camp is June 28th to July 2nd. The cost is $395, that includes travel, lodging, camp T-shirt, food (while at camp) and team activities. Wrestler will want to bring some travel money for snacks and souvenirs. Each camper will need a copy of your current physical with a doctors signature. Camp Fees MUST be paid by June 25th Please get your check to Coach Rod
