Chaparral Wrestling will be traveling to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs to rub elbows and practice with some of the USA Olympic training center athletes on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. This is going to be a truly memorable and “FUNSTYLE” experience for all. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Coach Cortez. Itinerary is as follows:

3:30pm – Group 1 will leave Chaparral High School.  Meeting place is in front of school near bus parking lot.  We will carpool and/or use school transportation depending on the number of participants.

4:00pm – Group 2 will leave Chaparral High School.

4:30 pm – Group 1 will arrive at the OTC : 6155 Lehman Dr.  Colorado Springs, Colorado  80918

5:00pm – Group 2 will arrive at the OTC

4:30 – 5:00 pm – Short walk/tour around the OTC and then begin practice promptly between 5:15 pm and 5:30pm.

5:30 – 6:30 pm – OTC practice with Olympic athletes.

6:30 – 7:20pm – Tee Shirt signing and meet and greet athletes

7:30pm – 8:30 pm – Return to Chaparral High School Parking lot

8:30 pm – 8:45 pm – Chaparral HS and Youth pickup and go home.

Chaparral athletes should plan to bring their own snacks/battle fuel or sack lunch to/from the trip. Chaparral Wrestling will provide t-shirts for all that paid the $15.00 fee. Please see Coach Padilla or Coach Cortez to insure that your wrestler receives his/her t-shirt. Please be sure that your wrestler wears the team shirt as this will make your wrestler easier to identify. We will also take a team picture at the event.
